杨留义，1955年生于河南遂平，祖籍河南南阳，南京艺术学院毕业。文化部华夏文化遗产保护中心副秘书长兼书画委员会主任，中国艺术创作院副院长、中国艺术创作院山水画院院长、中国美术家协会会员、国家一级美术师。
    作品《云断秋山》、《秋水同行》、《接天宇之气》、《气破天宇》、《脊梁》、《清夏》等作品多次参加全国性、国际性美展，并多次获奖。《秋熟》、《长城颂》、《生命礼赞》、《汉魂唐魄写江山》、《中华魂》、《江南民居》等多幅作品被中国美术馆，人民大会堂，多伦多艺术馆，中央军委大楼，北京奥申委，中国驻法、俄、意大利大使馆等单位收藏。
    《美术》、《国画家》、《美术博览》、《中国文化报》、《中国书画报》、《文艺报》等多种刊物对其多次进行专题专版介绍。
    应邀分别在联合国教科文总部、中国美术馆、中国国家画院、俄罗斯美术馆、普希金博物馆、日本现代美术馆、韩国美术馆及南京、西安等地多次举办个人画展和联展。
    国画作品《祥云和畅图》、《雅典.卫城》、《新境》、《山不争高自极天》分别搭载“神舟六号”“神舟七号”“天宫一号”遨游太空。
    先后出访法国、德国、意大利、希腊、西班牙等十多个国家进行学术交流。
    出版有《杨留义画集》、《杨留义积墨山水》、《名家画风解析——杨留义》、《中国画名家——杨留义》、《21世纪有影响力画家——杨留义》等个人画集10余种及50余部作品合集。

      Yang Liu Yi was born in SuiPing, HeNan province in 1955. His home town was NanYang, in HeNan province.He Graduated form NanJing Art College. He was the Vice Executive Secretary of Huaxia Cultural Heritage Protection Centre and the Director of Painting and Calligraphy Committee of Culture Ministry.  Vice-Dean of Art Creation Institute of China, Dean of Landscape Painting Institute of Art Creation Institute of China.  Member of China Artist Association.  Country level Artist.
      His works《YunDuanQiuShan》、《QiuShuiTongXing》、《JieTianYuZhiQi》、《QiPoTianYu》、《JiLiang》、《QingXia》 and so on, participated in china and international art show, and got a lot of medals. And 《QiuShu》、《ChangChengSong》、《ShengMingLiZhan》、《HanHunTangPoXieJiangShan》、《ZhongHuaHun》、《QiuYaoJinHua》、《JiangNanMinJu》etc.
      These works were collected by Chinese art museum、Great hall of the People 、Toronto Art Center、Central Military 、Committee building、Beijing Olympic Games Committee、Chinese embassy in France, Russia and Italy.      
      Many publications, for example 《The Arts》、《Traditional Chinese painter》、《The fine arts is read extensively》、《China Culture News》、《Chinese Calligraphy and Painting》、《Literature and Art is reported》etc, introduced his paintings specially for many times.
      He was invited to hold his art exhibition at Education , Science and Culture general headquarter of United Nations、Chinese Art Gallery、Chinese country Art Academy、Russia Art Gallery、Pushkin Museum、Modern Art Gallery of Japan，Korea Republic Art Gallery、NanJing and XiAn.
      His traditional Chinese painting work 《Xiang Yun He Chang Tu》、《Athens. Acropolis》 was separately carried by “ShenZhou-6”,“ShenZhou-7”up to the sky.
      He visited more than ten countries, like France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spanish etc, and engaged in academic communication.
      He published more than ten sorts of his personal album of paintings, for instance 《YangLiuYi album of paintings》、《YangLiuYi JiMoShanShui》、《Chinese painting master ——Yang Liu Yi》、《21 influential artists——Yang Liu Yi 》and published more than fifty joint works too.
